Petition to Qualify

Help Us Get on the Ballot

I am running as an independent candidate for Georgia State House District 73. In order to appear on the ballot, Georgia law requires our campaign to collect thousands of petition signatures from registered voters in the district.

This is the most important step in our campaign. Without these signatures, voters will not have the opportunity to choose an independent voice.

Petition to Qualify

Why This Matters

This process is about more than just signatures. It is about giving District 73 a real choice.

Too often, elections are decided before voters ever have a say. By signing this petition, you are helping ensure that our community has the opportunity to hear a different perspective and consider a new path forward.

Who Can Sign?

To sign the petition, you must:

  • Be a registered voter in Georgia
  • Live in State House District 73

If you meet these requirements, your signature can help us take the next step.

How to Sign

Georgia requires wet signatures, which means signatures must be collected in person.

To make this easy:

Email: signatures@baynardfor73.com

A member of our campaign team will coordinate with you and meet at a time and place that is convenient for you. We are actively meeting with voters across the district every week.

How You Can Help

Even if you’ve already signed, you can still make a big impact:

Our Goal

We must collect thousands of valid signatures by the deadline to qualify for the ballot.

Every signature moves us one step closer to giving District 73 a real choice.

Running as an Independent in Georgia… Why?

Let’s be honest. Running as an Independent in a race like this is not the easy path. The odds are not in my favor. The system is built for two parties, and stepping outside of that comes with real challenges. I know that, and I’m doing it anyway. Because this was…

Why I’m Running for Georgia House District 73

At some point, you stop talking about problems and start asking what you are going to do about them. For me, that point came after trying to engage the way a constituent is supposed to. Over the past several months, I reached out multiple times to my current…
